Stephen has worked in the softwood industry for over 40 years, primarily for Swedish companies, a significant part of which was with SCA where he was Sales Director and lately Managing Director up to the beginning of 2024. He left SCA in June of 2025 and is now UK Project Manager for Swedish Wood, the promotional and educational arm of Skogsindustrierna, the Swedish Forest Industry Association. Stephen is also a Director of CTI, Confederation of Timber Industries, and Cei-Bois, the European Wood Industry Association, and has previously held the title of President of the TTF, now Timber Development UK. He’s a lifelong supporter of West Ham United so is used to long periods of difficult times………
